Casablanca is one cliche' from beginning to end. So much fun to watch. Can't wait to play it again.

From the original movie trailer:
"Blazing saddles? Saddles don't blaze!"
This is one of my favorite movies of all time. I absolutely love it. There are so many one liners in this movie, there's too many to mention. Many of which can't be mentioned in "polite" company.
Like, from the scene where the old lady gives Clevon Little the pie:
"You'll have the common decency not to tell anyone where this came from."
Edited, shortened and cleaned up for here.
The most politically incorrect movie ever made. And I love every frame of it.

Roscoe Lee Browne in "The Cowboys", as he's about to be hung by Bruce Dern and the other Bad Guys:
His prayer to the Almighty contains......"please forgive me for all the men I've killed and those I'm about to......"
Then all hell breaks loose.
Gotta love it.

Spok: "Ship, out of danger?"
Kirk: "You saved the ship, Spok"
Spok: "Don't grieve Admiral, the needs of the many, outweigh the needs of the few".
Kirk: "Or the one."

There's an ad running on TV here in the LowCountry, for one of the colleges....or perhaps higher education, generally....that is a take-off on the Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz, another movie full of great quotes.
" So my kids don't have to forage, got two jobs to pay a mortgage....if I only had a brain". Love it.
"You've always had the power, my dear"....Glenda the Good Witch, I think..."I don't think we're in Kansas any more".... Dorothy, to Toto.
So many of these great lines slip into our everyday speech.
Maggie

It's actually from the greatest novel ever written but they used it in the movie.
Mr Bennett " For what do we live but to be sport for our neighbors. And laugh at them in our turn."

This is a favorite among pilots. He apparently said this often to flight crews while boarding, since it was such a hit.

From This is Spinal Tap:
Nigel Tufnel: The numbers all go to eleven. Look, right across the board, eleven, eleven, eleven and...
Marty DiBergi: Oh, I see. And most amps go up to ten?
Nigel Tufnel: Exactly.
Marty DiBergi: Does that mean it's louder? Is it any louder?
Nigel Tufnel: Well, it's one louder, isn't it? It's not ten. You see, most blokes, you know, will be playing at ten. You're on ten here, all the way up, all the way up, all the way up, you're on ten on your guitar. Where can you go from there? Where?
Marty DiBergi: I don't know.
Nigel Tufnel: Nowhere. Exactly. What we do is, if we need that extra push over the cliff, you know what we do?
Marty DiBergi: Put it up to eleven.
Nigel Tufnel: Eleven. Exactly. One louder.
Marty DiBergi: Why don't you just make ten louder and make ten be the top number and make that a little louder?
Nigel Tufnel: [pause] These go to eleven.
From the Blues Brothers:
Elwood: It's got a cop motor, a 440 cubic inch plant, it's got cop tires, cop suspensions, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas. What do you say, is it the new Bluesmobile or what?

"The Long Kiss Goodnight"
Nathan: Alice, please. Your dog, Alice. It and my appetite are mutually exclusive.
Alice: Well, what's wrong with the dog?
Nathan: Simple. He's been licking his a*****e for the last three straight hours. I submit to you that there is nothing there worth more than an hour's attention. I should think that whatever he is attempting to dislodge is either gone for good, or there to stay. Wouldn't you agree?

My all time favorite movie "Sergeant York". This message has stuck with me since seeing this movie as a young boy. The message I got was (sometimes a mans got to do what a mans got to do)
Alvin: Well I'm as much agin' killin' as ever, sir. But it was this way, Colonel. When I started out, I felt just like you said, but when I hear them machine guns a-goin', and all them fellas are droppin' around me... I figured them guns was killin' hundreds, maybe thousands, and there weren't nothin' anybody could do, but to stop them guns. And that's what I done.
Maj. Buxton: Do you mean to tell me that you did it to save lives?
Alvin: Yes sir, that was why.
Maj. Buxton [amazed]: Well, York, what you've just told me is the most extraordinary thing of all.

Great fun here, Paul and Tam, we have similar appreciations. For me it's:
Elwood: It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.
Jake: Hit it.
