Motor City Motors Sacrilege!!!!!!!

Just finished watching an episode of Motor City Motors on The Discovery Channel. The show is a FLAGRANT ripoff of Monster Garage - I'm guessing that the Discovery Channel owns the rights to the concept that Jesse James started.

Anyway, this episode was called Air Scream. They took what looks to be a pretty decent/nice '63 (I think) Trade Wind and DESTROYED it

They hacked it to pieces and cut off the roof to create a hovercraft. Why they had to destroy a fully restorable (nice skin) Airstream is beyond me. It just hurt to watch. They didn't even try to salvage anything, except for the entry door, I saw it laying on the floor next to the build.

Motor City Motors : TV Series : Discovery Channel

To Dave and James Kaye, the founders of Detroit Bros Custom Cycles and hosts of Motor City Motors....Karma is a real bitch boys! I can't wait to see some idiot hack up or otherwise destroy something classic that you cherish!!!

The only comfort I can take is knowing that:

1) It needed new axles
2) It leaked
3) The floors were rotted

If you need hard to find parts for one of these, DO NOT WATCH THIS EPISODE!!!!!!!!

I'm with you Toddster!

Lets go cut up some fake classic poser hardley davisons and make wheel barrows and hot dog stands out of them. Maybe cut one up and make a wood splitter into it. Then at least it would have a purpose and not ruin our peace and quiet at all hours.
