We went to the show too. We enjoyed it, but honestly I was surprised to see only about 30 rigs. That's a buck a piece, which I thought was kinda steep. We also expected to see more canned hams, since there are so many in SoCal. It was our first time at this show. I hope next year there is more participation.

My for sure favorite was the 30 foot Holiday Homes. Of which there are only 200 made (Harry and David Fruit co.). It was REALLY retro and had that atomic age look. Inside was like a 50s living room. We also like the big 35 foot Spartan. Around 8600# and they had special high axles to raise the whole thing to about 20" of ground clearance to get it in their driveway.

In the resto category the guy from "MrCannedHam.com" in Riverside had the most spectacular restoration work on display. He had a gorgeous 1952 16 footer that was restored end to end and top to bottom for $16k.

The weather was great, but not as good as the day before when we went to the McCormack auto auction next door. 600 classic cars on the block. Another fabulous weekend in Paradise for us!

Hittenshiel....so great to meet the two of you and glad to hear you had a great time at the Mod Week Vintage Trailer Show. I was so thrilled with the diversity in vintage travel trailers as well as the Airstream Classic MOHO & Greyhound bus! Really loved that we increased the "small trailer" presence with an incredible SU Teardrop, some stunning Canned Hams & absolutely darling fiberglass egg trailers.....and was touched to present the first of its kind award to the Hanson Love Bug owners Holly & Alan. Next year should be even more inspiring!!!

Monah, you guys put on a great show and we loved the diversity also. We will come back for more inspiration next year. Even though we are partial to the Airstreams there was a lot of creativity among the rest. I promised I would post a few more pics so since I already posted the AS's I will show a few of the others. I missed a couple but as you can see the showing was fantastic.

Thanks weirdstuff. Maybe we'll have a little "air forums" happy hour so we can meet each other.

Yes!

By the way, I finally sent in my application for the WBCCI/San Diego chapter. It's time for us to get out and meet some other Airstream peeps!

Hittenstiehl/SteveSueMac,
That red Chevy is actually a 1955 Nomad (that's the only year that had factory radius rear wheel wells); but we "Nomaders" appreciate whenever anyone recognizes a Nomad...so, all is good.
The photos show what a great show this was! Thanks for posting them.
As we are now receiving another 3-4 inches of snow it's neat to see some sharp-
looking trailers basking in the warm sunshine.
