does anyone know about lustron homes?

I have seen a couple out in the midwest. What do you want to know about them and why on an Airstream Forum?

I googled lustron chat and this came up!! i know it sounded like a long stretch to me as well. I have the opurtunity to get two of them for free if I move them. I have seen all kinds of houses moved at all kinds of cost and wondered if any one out there had moved one of these. I am looking to take it less than twenty miles but dont even know where to start looking for movers.

Interesting to say the least. I am not sure how you would move one. I did help disassemble a couple of old gas stations. We took them apart piece by piece and labeled each piece. On one we got lucky and had a copy of the orginal blueprints I would try the Lustron Connection and see if anyone has any ideas.
