Little Debbie AIRSTREAM Ad
YouTube - TheRealLittleDebbie's Channel
Always on the lookout for an Airstream in other products ads. Just saw this one on TV. An American icon used as a backdrop to sell other products.

found on the Lil' Debbie website.
It seems the inspiration for LITTLE DEBBIE CO. using the trailer as part of the the marketing was because the founder of the company was also in love with his Airstreams.

Me too. At least after I realized that Land Yacht made no sense in the sentence.

The contest continues until June 30. You can go to their website to enter every day. I don't NEED another Airstream, but if I WON it, I would have to take it. Right? At least that's my story to the family. Tee Hee!

That's interesting, when I was a kid my Dad bought a used little Debbie delivery van that was unpainted aluminum. We used to pretend it was the Millennium Falcon. I wonder if those vans were Airstream inspired.

divco build up - THE H.A.M.B.
These are very collectible now....check out the link above. I tend to like the ones with the original logos and lettering. Along with the old paint nd colors. Now I want one.
Restoring one of these makes trailer redo's look easy...
And sorry guys....Only one entry per household on the contest. I plan on winning anyway.

I wonder if the marketing team got their idea from the WW2 "candy bombers" -
the Allied bomber command flight crews who dropped confections for the children in the war-torn cities of Europe after VE Day?

Little Debbie resurfaces
In September we bought that Little Debbie 16' Bambi off an RV lot in Tennessee and knew that it had some kind of little "history" behind it -- just not sure what! She was all restored to her original glory and all the Little Debby paint was long gone. Finally I tracked it all down and I've been busy today piecing together her story! She was purchased by the Makai Marketing company to promote Little Debbie with a Seattle to San Fransisco tour called "The Million Smile Mission". Then it was won by a girl in Ohio as the final event of the Little Debbie give-away. Somehow it ended up on the lot in Tennessee and we stumbled on it. Now she is back in Ohio! I wish she could talk and tell me exactly how many miles were on those little tires! What a great history she has had in her short life! The Silvermine . . . and his!
