photos would be nice. I've got little dings all the way up to within a few inches of the bottom of the window. How high, Firedog, did you apply this stuff?

I too had LineX (black) sprayed in the bed of my pickup. It's been there about 6 months and I'm totally happy with it. It has a lifetime warranty too. My installer did an excellent job. I took about 2.5 hours for the job and was immediately ready to use, although they say wait 24 hours before placing heavy objects in the truck bed. It cost me $400 to have the bed done.

I had my truck bed done about 2 and a half years ago now. It looks the same as new. I don't haul a lot but for the times I have, nothing has affected it.

I don't know how much weight it would add, but I would consider using it on the roof (in the appropriate color) of an A/S or SOB to solve leak and/or hail dent issues.

I'm glad to hear good reviews about Linex. I bought an 06 PSD used and the bed has a few scratches in it though it does have a Tonneau cover to help protect it. I'll probably go with the black for my bed liner.

Now, there's an idea . Have the roof done in white. Seems like it would solve the hail problem and have some insulating qualities as well. Kind of like a rubber roof on an SOB.

Hey, I could spray my whole Argosy with a light covering of this stuff and be set for years. With the darker mid stripe sprayed too, my worries would be over. Honestly, I would consider spraying the roof and the front. Let us know if anyone tries this.

Darn snow, today pics, coming sunday dec. 31.I tell you becareful who does the treatment,I like the linex but the installer did not meet my standards.ex,they have to etch the clearcoat for the adhesive to bind the linex, to the aluminum.I had minor bleeding on one side, a 2.5 inch x 2 foot a cloudy clear coat.I could have complained but I have 98 bambi. Its not that bad,if it was new i would have gotten it recoated clear. Also the linex is not garenteed, because the application warantee, only applies to truck beds, sorry for da spelling new years resolution #11. happy holidays

As for the LineX, I have had 2 trucks sprayed with it; black. The black will fade, it is a matter of time. The hardness of the LineX is greater than the other brands, although a lesser hardness is available through LineX as well. On both trucks, two seperate installers, the surface prep was with 100 grit sandpaper on a jitterbug air sander! I cringe at the thought of that being done to an Airstream.
It was also sprayed on hot, and I have no idea what the heat would do to the different kinds of clearcoat Airstream has used over the years. I do know that LineX is one tough product!
