Airstream privilege is an inequity that most every poster on this forum bears a degree of responsibility.

SOB owners are disadvantaged, the question is, just what are YOU going to do about it?

View from my Airstream window, live!

Dont drink and drive, and dont drink and drive 120 MPH with no shoes on, and rear end a nice couple driving down the road minding their own business.

No injuries, the couple that was hit gave credit to God, and I agree.

22 year old kid in a Cadillac was hammered drunk.

It comes in a parallel universe, or a parallel thread, such as "Guns on the road."

My son borrowed an SOB to take to deer camp. I toured it this AM, something has to be done, there is no way that it is fair for others to have to do without an Airstream.

It is a tragic situation that so many have to bear this extreme indignity. It made me feel dirty and ashamed.

Who wouldn't want to camp in something that looks like their grandmother's house? This is the perfect place to watch the Golden Girls and enjoy some lifetime while you eat a pint of Ice Cream.

Yep, what a piece of crap.

Like what would I do if I had to have stupid slide outs?

That is so disgusting.

Hey, who made that camper anyway?

I need to file a lawsuit against them.

I invented the "Studio Concept" trailer. The dirty corporatists stole my idea.

Our Airstream is a 2007. I was 25 yrs old in 2007. So why is it that in 2015 it still looks more modern than 2016 RV's with interiors that look like they were decorated in the early 90's?

Seriously, industry is ignoring the younger generation.

Because mostly old folks buy campers?

I was actually thinking about you and your family when I passed an "adults only" RV park in Deming, NM yesterday.

I mean really, that is so unfair!

I would be pissed if I passed a park that was for right handed people only.

In 07 I was 42.... But the picture you posted above looks cheesy to me too.

That's exactly why we ended up with an Airstream. Bold, the interiors are more like the 70s, but your weren't born yet, so it's ok. I had a 34ft, triple slide, 60 in flat screen, fireplace, dishwashe, clothes washer and dryer, residential fridge, and only 14000lbs at 1/2 the price of the 27FB Sig, all picked out. My wife said," the 5er looked like Grandma's house" no dice.

No filiform though!

Funny you mention that, I joined the full-time families forum out of curiosity. And I guess another common thing, folks with bigger setups experience is the "child tax" and it's where parks charge extra per child. Apparently becoming pretty common.

Luckily we're not into parks. We've stayed at only 2 actual RV parks our entire time on the road. And only one of those did we stay for longer than 1 day.

We don't stop at parks much either. The majority of my away time is spent moored to my workplace in NM.

I have enjoyed the Queen Mine RV Park in Bisbee for several days now and we will go back, and I really enjoyed the Corps of Engineers camp at Lake Maumell, other than that I have only stayed in a handful of camps.
