Everyone seems to be wondering why the terrorists are so quick to commit suicide.

No Internet

Sand everywhere and not a dune buggy in sight
Ever try to fish at an oasis?
Rags for clothes and hats
Constant wailing from the guy next door because he is
sick and no doctors.
No music
No radio
You can't shave
You can't shower
Bar-B-Q donkey cooked over burning camel ****
The women have to wear baggy dresses and veils at all
times.
Your bride is picked by someone else
Oh, and then they tell you that when you die it all
gets better!

Vern - You're right on there. I lived among "'em" for 18 years. The young men have no right to even talk to a girl his own age, and if caught doing so she is accused of being loose and branded unworthy. Nothing happens to him at all. Fairness? Then some relative picks who you are going to marry!! And it is usually a 1st cousin if possible. You don't meet until the wedding, only to find she may have as thick a beard as you do. The religion has a lot going for it in many many ways - even has whole sections on our Bible inside their Quoran. It is just the fanatic way many are forced to practice that religion that makes us think it wrong.

What did I come out of Arabia with? A profound love of my country and our freedoms.

PS - What they are really told about death via martardom (sp) is that heaven will be full of blonde virgins begging them for "attention".
