LED warning triangles- inexpensive.....

I came across these last week and picked up a few. They were not much more expensive than the non-led lit ones, so I bit and gave it a shot since you never know when you need something on the highway until you need something on the highway.

Northern Industrial 18in. Flashing Warning Triangle | Warning Triangles | Northern Tool + Equipment

These are clearly not the Rolls Royce of flashing triangles (of course, made in China....sigh), but I figure every edge counts when on the side of the road. The come with a plastic storage tote when not in use. They fold up and tuck away nicely.

That link is bad.
There's a wide selection of triangles at 'amazon'
But I'm partial to these for road safety: Amazon.com: Orion Safety Prod. 3153-08 Safety PlasTcap Flare: Automotive

Link is good but that product is sold out. That post is over a year old.

I carry three reflective plastic triangles and a set of flares. I hope to never use them....

I've had a few roadside tire, er.. "incidents", and having some type of high-visibility warning is a must have, when you're off on the shoulder... it's amazing how many people treat edge of pavement- not the painted lines- as right-of-way

Sadly, on a similar note
Recently, two young men (one HS senior, and one recent graduate), from my neighborhood, were killed on I-94, crashing into the rear of a stopped tractor-trailer. I hate to speculate on something so tragic (with so many factors); suffice to say, it's prudent to have signals or flares ready, when travelling.
