All Airstreams from 1959 to present are made from stretched formed Aluminum. Like they use for aluminum canoes or airplanes. You can not stretch form Kevlar. You can only bend it in one direction. You can not make complex curves without stretch forming or molding. You could mold something that looks like an airstream shape using Firberglass type technology using Kevlar instead of glass. That is how they make Kevlar canoes and kayaks.

You could also Gold anodize a current Airstream and make a replica of Wally's Gold trailer and that would be distinctive also. Current Airstream designs with heavy
Corian Counter tops and solid oak and exotic wood cabinets are not make to minimize weight but to impress the potential customers and those stopping by for a visit.

you can still try to mix polished alum inside skin with kevlar inside skin... would be neat...
Once you're done John you better come over. I want to see that thing ASAP!

You can polish Ferraris and Lamborghinis. Both have been made of Kevlar for several years. Just paint...no, that would make it a Kevlar Argosy!

You read my mind....carbon fiber not only looks cool but is super durable.
Still on the pricey side....at least for motorcycle guards (small) and such. Parts start at around $100.00 and up. But an Airstream in carbon fiber would look incredible! Stealth like!
