While I can solve your problem for those on the east coast I have 3 pieces white cedar 16 ft, 10 in. by 3/4 in ruff cut that is at least 90% usable.

These are left over from my build linked below.

all that remains stitching on the skin and then the coaming. I think it will be able to go in the water on Monday.

The frame took 1044 knots in 322 lashings (not including the 308 two-loop slip knots in most lashings). This boat is 14-1/2', so it's not the shortest and definitely not the longest. Every additional foot requires three more ribs and 44 more knots.

Elapsed time has been four days, Monday afternoon to this morning. When I firs saw one of these, I couldn'nt imagine the amount of work it might take to build one. Well, it is a lot of work, but is goes a lot faster than I thought.

Zep, is it the camera angle, or is this yak a lot longer and sleeker than your others? It's a gorgeous piece of sculpture even without its utility in the water.

It's the camera angle and focal length. This boat is actually 3' shorter, but it is also 2" narrower. I really hate to cover up the frame--maybe I should hang it in the study...

Here is my Eddyline Caribbean sit-on-top kayak.... I know it belongs in the water....but, taking a photo is LOTS easier on land! Paddled Folsom Lake today in it!

Not yet....but, one destination I have been thinking about is the paddle from Negro Bar up to the place where the prison warning sign is located! Back when that prison was surrounded by open space, a couple friends of mine got arrested for trespassing....they were in search of some geologic feature. They passed a "No Trespassing" sign, but decided to ignore it, as I recall.
