takes about 20 hours to layup the hull and about another 130 to complete the bright work. :-) I will post a photo when complete.

Tim & LL....

Burrrrrrrrrr, where do you stow the brandy cast to keep away the chill?

May your hulls be tight and your paddles rigid...Old Aleut saying...

Merry Christmas,

Any kit builders out there? Any wannabees? I've finally gotten around to finishing (mostly) the documentation for assembling my Pygmy Tern 17.

Ray;

the Metaxa is carried in a Stanley Flask, 8.5 oz for medicinal purposes only.
Good eye on the paddles, LL uses a Werner Carbon Athena, 2 piece and in the christmas shot I am using a Lettmann one piece medium blade wing.Carbon 213cm,45 degree.I have it on demo from a fellow who used it to solo circuminavigate the island of Wales recently.It's nice to have a world class paddler locally to get tips etc. etc.

Laura; Thank you-- hey put the yak you have on the jeep and take it out in the snow. It's a blast, just do it !

Zep-- nice blog on your yaks!!

Laura;
I ment to take your boat to a hill covered with snow and slide down the hill!!

Or go to a snow covered road, this requires 2 people, get in your boat with a tow line to your jeep and go girl go ! ! In the 60's in New Hampshire we used to call this banking as we would use an inflated innertube attached to the tow vehicle, the tube with the rider on it would always drift to the outside of the turns and ride up the snow plowed off the side of the road. way fun.

OR you could have a horse pull you around in the snow. an alternative form of ski- jorging. I did some ski-jorging when I lived in Dillon, Co. that's a real blast.
