Joyful solstice to all!

I hope everyone is safe, warm, and as happy as possible. The nights get shorter as the wheel of the year turns. I wish you all peace, warmth, and abundance.

Right back at you. Full moon last night and the evening started out clear. Thought we would go out to see the eclipse but the clouds rolled in. Have to look at it on the internet. Pretty sure I won't make the next one.

Winter Solstice Rally at Airstreamhenge?

Whew! The days do seem to be getting longer. That was a close one!

That gives me an idea! How about a Winter Solstice Rally at Airstreamhenge, a.k.a. Airstream Ranch near Tampa, Florida?

You know, Airstream pagans could gather, hoist some brewskies, have a barbecue, maybe sacrifice a few virgins, or whatever you're supposed to do at the winter solstice.

(Come to think of it, hold the virgins. The fines for sacrificing one are astronomical now that they're endangered.)

Maybe Bates RV (owner of this work of art) would let us boondock around the henge. Those wanting hookups can stay at Tampa East RV Park, right next door within easy walking distance.

Great location for a Winter Solstice Rally, too. In addition to having Aluminumhenge (indispensable!) it's usually warm around Tampa this time of year. . . .

Not so in Orlando... it was rumored to be forecasted for the 20's today. I know that our water spigot froze last night in Mariana....thank goodness the furnace works.

Maybe we should have headed further south for Christmas...
