it's friday...
it's friday, what are your week-end plans? do they include poliching your airstream, working on it or what? i'll start:
it's friday, i'm going to clean out the new baby and if the weather cooperates, i hope to start polishing her on the outside.

ps, the new baby is a 1979 excella motorhome. 28 foot. i've posted pictures on this site. i hope to get into polishing the outside when the weather gets better and i work up the nerve to tackle it! looking at some of the beauties you have shown all shined up like anew penny, i'm sort of hesitant to post the pictures now, but i figure we all pretty much started out the same way!

Yep, they take a lot of work, but it's worth it! Maxwell was far from shiny when we got him...
As for us this weekend...
Friday = stripping
Saturday = stripping
Sunday = stripping
Oh, did I mention we'd be stripping this weekend???
Any questions?

I'm taking down the Airstream drapes (which have condensation stains after this winter) for a soak and gentle washing. Spring cleaning time. I've been distracted by unaccountably warm Spring weather for March, making early garden and doing yard and pond spruce up. Now it's rainy again, so back to Gypsy ~G

Work
I'm still on a 7 day a week work schedule, but there is LIGHT at the end of the tunnel. Most of the RV renters around here are leaving in droves, and I-75 Northbound will be a parking lot on Sat and Sun.
You've been warned!!

It's pollen week in Sumter SC so I'm just letting the yellow stand till I return from Florida next weekend. Then I'll be washing and getting ready to hit the road for the next few months of my weekly grind.
This weekend I'm moving a big pile of dirt that has my parking space. The garden is getting top priority this weekend, then the kitchen.
Boy am I glad it's the weekend!

Pictured below are my two Saturday projects. First take the Imapla out for morning coffee with the neighborhood car guys. Then change out the cooling unit in the frig on 345 number 2. Can you guess which one I am looking forward to? Oh, yeah, then go to work on Sunday.

Weekend plans...
Well, since I am nearly recovered from a tonsilectomy (I swear the Dr used a rusty spoon!) I am going to finish the last of the curtains. My husband will be renting some heavy duty jackstands and pulling the drive shaft in preparation for the Gear Vendor Install.

well, it's already friday again! since our weather has taken a turn for the worst (and i mean the worst!), i haven't had a chance to work on ours at all. we're going to fill up the propane tanks tomorrow so i can get to work on the inside. oh well, it's fun just to spend time in her. i think i'm going to start to work on the roll-up blinds and curtains. then if we do get propane, i can turn the heat up and watch a movie in my airstream instead of the house. oh yeah, sounds like fun!

It's Friday and we are wishing it was NEXT SATURDAY because that is when the campground opens and we can spend the weekend in our AS!!! We have to unwinterize her, but since the weather here has gone back to winter, we may be re-winterizing her too!

it's friday here and we have to go put propane in the tanks so we can run the furnace. we had to drain the waterlines again. we had filled them when the weather was nice, but with the return of winter! YUK! can't wait until it stays warm and we can get at the fun stuff!

Think I'll give ours a quickie wash. We had a little shower a few days back and it rained mud. Here in the south west the air is so dry and full of dust that when the wind blows and it rains it's a mess.---pieman

It's Friday and I took the day off and am doing laundry, went to visit the insurance adjuster, cleanin' the house and not even thinking about my Airstream yet given Mother Nature's recent tantrum. As soon as it gets above 32 regularly, I'm out to fetch it, dewinterize it and get 'er ready for the season!

We had those 3 weeks of summer and April went to hell. If I were still with WBCCI, this weekend would be the first outing of the season. I'm glad we haven't dewinterized yet. So far most of the Missouri grape crop has been killed off, along with many of the fruit tree crops. Aparently the wheat got hit hard also. It got way too warm too fast and 'ol Mother Nature swung the door the other way.
