Think I'll give ours a quickie wash. We had a little shower a few days back and it rained mud. Here in the south west the air is so dry and full of dust that when the wind blows and it rains it's a mess.---pieman

It's Friday and I took the day off and am doing laundry, went to visit the insurance adjuster, cleanin' the house and not even thinking about my Airstream yet given Mother Nature's recent tantrum. As soon as it gets above 32 regularly, I'm out to fetch it, dewinterize it and get 'er ready for the season!

We had those 3 weeks of summer and April went to hell. If I were still with WBCCI, this weekend would be the first outing of the season. I'm glad we haven't dewinterized yet. So far most of the Missouri grape crop has been killed off, along with many of the fruit tree crops. Aparently the wheat got hit hard also. It got way too warm too fast and 'ol Mother Nature swung the door the other way.

yeah, same in michigan. it's has severely hurt the fruit crops, etc. i think it hit hard a lot of places so prices are bound to be high! i did enjoy the warm snap, but the price we are going to pay for the few warm days we had is going to be way too high!

I'm going to be getting the Changes ready for next week's Springstream Rally at Lake Chatuge in Hiawassee, GA. Looks like about 38-40 Airstreams with their families. There's going to be a hole pig roast and bar-bee que classes and Key Lime Pie. Um-umm! We can't wait!

All I need to do really is get the propane tanks filled and disinfect the fresh water tank and pack her up with new canned goods and a couple of fresh cylinders of gas for the grill. We've been camping twice this year already, once in January and once in February.

Of course that's after getting the fuel filters and oil changed in the truck, going to my son's soccer game, taking the dog to the vet, and there is something else...oh yes, there is an RV show at the Atlanta Motor Speedway in Hampton, GA near my home. All in all it should be a busy weekend.

40's.... chance of rain.... Can't think of a better time to take up some of the tile in the bathroom and see what's going on with the soft spot by the toilet. Unfortunatly I think I know.
