Talking Its a Girl!!

New baby arrived....our 2nd (and will be our final)....

Wont get into all details, but everything looked to be going pretty routine on friday with labor starting for my wife and calling hospital...driving to hospital...

She was 2cm the week before this and the day before this in the doctors office...no effacement....

At hospital triage, 8cm...rushed to room....planned on epidural....thought there may be still time...nurses rushing....but wife's SCREAMS become uhhh...LOUDER would be an understatement...minutes later it was evident that there was NO time for pain meds or epidural or ANYTHING...minutes later 4 or 5 pushes...and our baby girl arrived - 6lbs 13 ozs 19 inches... less than 2 hours of labor, only 30 minutes at hospital until arrival of baby...

Less than 48 hours later we are back at home...

A wild ride to say the least!!

Take care you all!

Gongrats on the new arrival. Glad all are healthy. A little drama just makes it interesting- a lot of good stories to tell about the delivery. Of course I am sure that your wife doesn't think so. Enjoy your family time.

Thanks you all - my wife's pain while being severe was luckily in a short period of time - it scared the hell out of me to be honest.

But now we are already joking and laughing about it, although the part where I describe her screaming she gets a bit ticked but laughs it off.

I'll post a few pics shortly
