It was only a matter of time...

I just read in the news today that anyone can purchase a DNA testing kit over the counter at your local drugstore! Total cost is about $150.

That is certainly cheaper than what we pay our DOJ lab. I wonder if it has been court tested.
It would still be useful for many issues/questions, aside from court admissibility.
