Is this normal?

Lately my husband, Mr. Hut, has me riding back in the trailer while he's up in the truck listening to his CB and stuff. He gave me a walky talky so that he can let me know when we're about to pull over so I can have him a sandwich ready. He says that Airstreamers do this all the time. I told him I think it's against the law for me to ride back there but he says Texas is really a republic and not a state so it don't matter. Lately he asked me to wear a swim suit or somethin while I'm back there to make it more enjoyable when he pulls over and opens the trailer door. I don't own no swim suit and am not tradin' in my mu mu. Do any of you ladies on the forum ride back there? Is that normal behavior. If it is, what do you wear?

Forget about making the sandwich, just wrap yourself in Glad wrap and meet him at the door. By the time he unwraps you he will forget about being hungry.

My apologies to the forum here. We stopped by a library so I could check out some books on how to make homemade cologne (can't find High Karate anymore) and Mrs Hut got on a computer and had someone show her how to get on line. Now that summer is here she don't like riding back there.

Better keep her off the computers. You might find a bunch of other stuff she doesn't like. Not to mention what will happen when she discovers ebay.

Welcome to the forums Ms. Hut!

As I recall, your man was debating carrying chickens in the Airstream at one point so as to have fresh eggs for breakfast at the campsite. If he followed through with his plan, I would recommend donning a woodworker's apron over any alluring attire so as to to save any uncovered skin from unanticipated abrasion due to the chickens flying about.

Other than that, I'm sure he is simply briefing you on what he picked up from the Blue Beret as far as travelling attire goes.

I'm looking at the profile pics of Mr and Ms Hut and envisioning her in a bikini and him in a Speedo. It's not a Kodak moment.
I need another beer.

That's because you're spelling it wrong-Hai Karate. And I found the recipe for you- Vinegar, Ammonia and Mixed Spices. Should be something Ms. Hut can whip up in the kitchen while you're on the road.

What you've just created is ammonium acetate (w/spices). Here are some of the systoms of ammonium acetate posioning:

'May irritate the G. I. tract. Abdominal pain, nausea, and vomiting may occur. Ingestion of large amounts may result in diuresis and systemic ammonia poisoning. Normal human subjects infused with ammonium acetate exhibit flaccidity of facial muscles, tremor, generalized discomfort, anxiety and impairment of motor performance.'

The flaccidity thing might be a bit of a bother, but otherwise it sounds ok!

Then again, those are the effects for 'Normal' human subjects, not airstreamers.

Oh no! Now we have two Tin Huts - Mr AND Mrs to give us our daily dose of humor - ROTFL!!!

I would insist that Mr Hut put a speedometer in the Airstream so you can be a "in the back of the trailer" driver.........
