Another fun add-on for Firefox is "Download Helper". It allows you to download and save your favorite videos from You Tube to your hard drive so that you don't have to be on line to watch them.

Yeah Jim there are a bunch of good add ons for Firefox. Just have to sort through them all and figure out what you like..

If your looking for a good antivirus Avasts.com is free and better than the ones you pay for..

But if you have a mac like some of us.. WELL you just don't have to worry about that kind of stuff

I just got a new netbook from ASUS with Linux, Firefox, WiFi, etc. No worry about viruses there either. Great little computer with mass of only one kilogram (2.2 pounds).

Every time I go to a new thread I have to wait for the pop up to "load"....a couple of seconds way too long! It is getting sooooo irritating. I'm tired of the old guy waving to me
I run Firefox as my browser on Linux. This 'pop over' does not play nicely. I often just get a big purple square with no way to close it. I cannot install plugins on my work machine to resolve the issue. I often get frustrated and just go to another site.

Bill
I tried firefox, but could not get the popup blockers to load. I gave up and applied the fix to the hosts file. Simple, and took care of the problem.
I'm still using Internet Explorer.

Amen to that. I finally installed ad blocker.....I can't believe this site has all this junk on it lately.

I miss the old days of this site where there was only modest ads and such. As each year passes, it gets more and more out of hand. This last one with the knuckle dragger waving all the time was just way over the top......

Live Bright Guy

We love our advertisers, but that Kellogg's Live Bright guy waving his fingers every time I click a new page is starting to get on my nerves.

He certainly has attracted the MOST attention here. Three threads so far perhaps we need to give wavy guy his own subforum.

Andy can you hear us now???

Many seem to agree as per these other active threads.Maybe they should all be combined.

I think that if Kellogg realized how many people are turned off by that advertisement they would pull it. I am sure that it is doing them more harm than good and someone should get the message to them.
