1989 Airstream Argosy fiberglass travel trailer approximately 34 feet long, back bedroom, roof air, each window has an awning, many extra's but does need work. Tri-axle with brand new tires. I will take $1,500 for this which is a steal. Call cell phone 603-235-5746 between 5pm and 6pm, after that I will be out of service. Leave a message if need be. Would make a great Hunting Rig !
At first glance I thought perhaps the lister had hit the zero one too many times by mistake but I guess not. I couldn't tell for sure but is that duct tape on top of the A/C?
A cute little trailer but...................

The back windows are odd too. All the Cruisettes shown in the archives have the typical old-style Hehr windows...this one has the newer (like in my '56) Hehr Standard windows and in an odd configuration that doesn't look like any "original" Airstream I've ever seen.
Hmmm, interesting...maybe this is part of the "custom made with small bathroom" part. So who wants to contact the seller for more pictures??? Especially the inside ~

The rear windows looked a little strange to me also. If I knew that they had added one too many zeros on the price I probably would not have posted the link. (just pictures of my new rig!)
offering 1950 airstream travel trailor restoration project.
Have photos I can email if interested.
I emailed for more info and got this reply along with 14 pictures (exterior only)

20 foot long, all we know is it is a 1950,no model name or number on title.
T.T.F.N.Thanks for looking.
On first looks, I would guess a 22' Liner (although the door is more forward like a Flying Cloud?). It's had some work done, I count a 4th window on the streetside that looks added, and the tongue is long and square tube - don't know about the rest of the frame, but originally it would have been a pipe frame.
I have no affiliation with this listing, but can forward the email with the 14 pictures I received if you are interested.
Up for sale is a 1971 Airstream, tradewind model. As you can see from the photos, unless someone is real dedicated, it's value is in parts and pieces. All the windows are in good shape and the door has just a couple small dents. (check out what, for example, the front window and door sells for!) The refrigerator stove etc. are inside and the condition is unknown. I'm sure there are pumps, tanks, valves, hardware still inside as well (there are still sheets on the bed, so it was in livable condition when it toppled) After all the parts are removed for a restoration project or put up for sale, the skin gets taken off for recycling. There must be several hundred pounds of that. (A price today for alum. foil plate, clean, free of paper, food, etc. sells for about fifty cents a pound, maybe a better deal can be found in your area) Then, have a bonfire and a beer with all the wood. Then there is a wonder full frame for a flatbed trailer. 1971 was the last year for the heavy frame in airstreams. The tires still have air after 8 years of being parked there, altho a couple are a little low. The condition of the electric brakes is also unknown. I am helping a friend sell this, I have little personal history of the unit. I would do all the parting out if, I lived closer, had more time to do the work, and needed a utility trailer. There are current plates for transporting the trailer, so with a little air in the tires and securing some loose pieces, it's probably good to go. Considering a good utility trailer is worth $2000 +/-, this has room for some profit. I have more photos that I can forward if desired. It is now located in Terlingua Tx. which is close to the Big Bend N. park. You can call me with questions or for more photos @ 520-432-3285.
