I spotted this ad the other day - listed at
$550 - and called on it. I wanted pictures, he told me to call him back later as he was on a cell phone. I called him back and left my number and email address on his voice mail, but never got pics or a reply.
I checked the ad a couple days later and see it's still there, but now the price is
$2,550 !
Wuts dat u smokin?
I don't know what's up with this guy. He keeps posting Airstreams on craigslist, and then discourages you from buying or raises the price ???

I called on this one, aske if he had any pictures - nope. He said it's not really usuable, has some creases. Under further questioning, he says it's complete except the bed, but it's not really usuable for anything other than parts. He said he was thinking about making a hot dog stand out of it, and still might.
Said he's got a '50, a '52, and a '67. Well... he's got the '50 and a '68 listed. The '68 is here:

If you choose to accept this mission - Good luck

Guys like this can be very annoying. Then someone hits them just at the right time and gets one heck of a deal.
I would love to find out about his '52 if it's in reasonable shape.
Sad to think of that '50 ending up as a hot dog wagon.

Yeah, it's bad enough hitting a speed bump with your TV. Can you imagine hitting those bumps with your Cyclo? It could be life altering

Grass hopper. You must first polish by hand and only your hands. Then it will be bright and shiny....

Claudia - Your school teacher gene is kicking in.
It actually says
Neither word can fully convey the state of decrepitness that trailer is in. Do you think the cinder block is holding up what's left of the floor?

Even older. Try late '50s before the clear view windows which hit the production line in '59. Decrepid condishin I would say. Can you say "parts"?

I think the cinder block IS the floor.
Getting that puppy home would be a major undertaking and then whether there's even $500 in parts is questionable.
