1963 Airstream Flying Cloud - $1500
Located in Tempe, AZ. 1963 Airstream Flying Cloud
This unit has got to be the one that forums member dmaiden started to restore last year and then moved to California. At the time Dave had bought a lot of new stuff for the project and the old stuff was in his backyard.
I have no idea who owns it now or what the status of all the stuff is. This is a real project...
OK, maybe I have enough life left to do this one at least. I love these trailers with the Rocketeer look front and aft. But once Donna saw ANOTHER project out back with her Chevelle still not done my life span would be real short .

I love the "Rocketeer look" as well! But I agree with Donna! I have a 1948 Cadillac my hubby started to restore for me in 1978.... still in the garage... in progress! Mrs. NorCal Bambi (traveling in S Tardis ~ from the Great State of Jefferson)

My goodness - that '48 Caddy towing the Rocketeer would by dynamite. I can understand how projects stall though. Life just seems to get in the way, NOT that I'm complaining that life continues - but all these unnecessary things come up like eat, sleep, mow the lawns, paint the fence, remember the wife's birthday a week late and figure out why she's been huffy - you know the drill. That is a LONG time for a project to remain a project though, I must admit. He's good. Real good actually if he can get away with something like that for that long.

Yes, actually he has many projects unfinished... he did finish "my" Bambi, however! He generally says, probably the only thing he will finish is life itself! Yes, the 48 Caddy would look great towing that trailer! It would also look great towing our 1955 Flying Cloud that is also in pieces....
oh well.....

A great many parts for a 65 SS, water system parts, holding tank and toilet, power converter, breaker box, battery box, stove, swing away tv stand, cabinet doors, too much to list, e-mail me what you need and I'll let you know if I have it.
It may have the original 8-track, but does it have the all important "Re-verb speaker" that no true 'Hi-fidelity' system can be without....?
My old '62 Lincoln had an 8-track AND that re-verb speaker, and I can say, without a doubt, that it did add something I had never heard before.... or since....
Hoping that 8-track, and the AirStream, find a happy and appreciative home.
