For someone who is wanting a vintage TV to tow that old Airstream this would look pretty goshed darned good in my books. It would look like a 1964 Airstream advertisement jumped off the pages of a magazine and was heading down the highway.

An almost mandatory upgrade would be to swap out that Powerglide for a 350 turbo, or 400 turbo.

I agree... absolutely cool combo.
I have a friend that has a black '67 Olds 442 that would look great in front of my '67 Ambassador.
Yes, a trans swap would be highly recommended for anything with a powerglide - slush box we used to call them. Not a big deal or cost, but definitely the right way to go. Add a trans cooler, a quality hitch, and have a ton of fun.
I actually remember a red 66 or 67 Cutlas wagon with the neat roof (sorry, can't remember what they called them) pulling a Caravel at a rod run about ten years ago and the combo was really good looking. The trailer must have been polished several years before as it wasn't mirror like but shiny enough to reflect the car.
I always enjoy seeing Airstreams, and I also enjoy seeing vintage and classic vehicles, and seeing them mated together is a real highlight for me.
