You can post pics of what you need, but Inland Andy prefers to talk to people on the phone when they order. It seems to reduce the number of misunderstood parts ordered, and having to wait twice as long (shipping two sets of parts both ways) for your parts.

Can we call & ask to talk to an unassuming, stately-looking guy with a FL tan?

You can. He may even answer the phone...

Seems like it could be easier if we just did this:" I need...."

Mike, are those examples of photos that show Airstream parts or actually what you need? It would be helpful if you described what from each photo you need -- it could be anything from skin to bumpers to rivets, to electronic components. Just tryin' to help out our west coast cousins...

Of course I expect they'd communicate with you privately after they understand your needs.

Geez, I was setting a example. Wondering if any reps would respond. None have.

Reps (vendors) operate under a different set of rules here. "No solicitation" being the primary one.

Email your pictures to them with descriptive words if you want help.

Excuse me. overlander63 has recently relocated from FL to CA to train in and give Inland some new blood. I wish I could hold a candle to how hard he works. So you have heard from a rep. I've dealt with a number of dealers around the country and Inland twice. You may do okay if you post a photo and certainly state what model, year & length Airstream you're working on. The personal touch of a phone call will work best for you. Doing this business off-forum is our preferred result. Thanks

Bob

Mike,

Does your 83 motorhome have dash a/c ? I ask because your dash control for the heater doesn't appear to include a/c controls. Lately I've been scrounging parts from a pick-a-part near Pasadena and have a couple of the controls with a/c sitting on my desk.

Since I'm heading over there tomorrow if you would like I can look for one like you have posted in your picture.

As for the turn signal lense I wouldn't mind finding a source for those as well.

Brad

So how do you turn the a/c on and off? I would think the fan switch on the left would only turn the fan on and not the compressor.

Interesting. Airstream sure made some changes from 83 to 84. Ours is an 84 310 and has all of the controls combined into one unit.

Sorry about the poor quality of the pictures, I need to find me a better pocket digital camera.

I pulled this unit and a similar one out of a mid 80s dodge ram van. When we first got our 310 it had a bad/broken control unit and I found one on eBay to replace it. Since then I decided it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to have a couple of spares laying around. I think the pick-a-part yard charge $10 each.

I'm going back tomorrow to look for spares for our Argosy motorhome.
