If you won the lottery...

Fellow Streamers...with all this talk about the lottery going on...here's a question for all of you...

"If you won the lottery (& there were no financial restrictions..) how would that effect/change your life in terms of Airstreaming" ??

Would you keep on doing it ??

Would you do more of it or less ??

Would you buy another Airstream trailer or another tow vehicle ??

Where would you go ??

No change in trailer or truck, just Airstream more, work less...

Same here, no change in TV or AS just more time on the road.

I did pool with my doctoral cohort and we won $2. Oh well.

I would have my Bambi II finished a whole lot more quickly as I would have someone else do it! Then I would buy my four door Jeep Wrangler TV and head to Chicago with my wife and baby to drive the entire historic Route 66 to LA. Return trip would be less direct.

I would not go bigger...but I might get more! Would love to own a Bowlus...and hitting the lottery would be the only way to do that!

I'd go a bit bigger, like maybe purchasing the AS company! Fit and finish would be addressed, and filform corrosion would be a thing of the past. You'd get what you pay for.

A big change here. Since my pickup has only 319,000 miles and is still going strong I would get some NEW tires for it instead of used ones.

Oh - and a 30 foot Serenity with 3 fantastic fans, no skylights, Pleather upholstery, recliners, full awning package, and the Classic plank flooring instead or the standard Serenity stuff. And a nyloboard floor! If I've got that much money and I have the nyloboard delivered to the factory - they WILL build it that way...

Hiya, Paul - from your neighbor at Alumapalooza.

If I won, I would sign up for bagpipe lessons.

I would hire a great attorney and CPA. I would for SURE not work anymore. But, I would start several foundations mainly for homeless & abused animals. Volunteer. I would get my elderly parents set up so they didn't have a care in the world. I would buy an Airstream and upgrade it to everything I can dream of, travel the country and pursue my passion of wildlife photography. I would NOT buy a big mansion, big fancy car. I'm uber happy with my Ford Expedition. I would pray it wouldn't change the essence of who I am.

I'd keep the AS and TV we have, upgrade the interior (floors, drapes, faucets, sinks) and use what's left (and that would be most of the winnings) to pay for the gasoline since the price continues to escalate!

I'd pay off the home mortgage and other loans we have. Then invest the rest. I'd hope I could camp more, but money isn't really our limiting factor now - it's time, mainly from work. If it were enough that we didn't have to work and could live off the dividends, then sure.

I might buy some campgrounds in opposite corners of the country.

Then, when I go broke, I wouldn't have to pay to camp.
