If Wally made a boat...

I think it would look like this:

The Lake Tahoe Thunderbird

There was a good article on his boat somewhere in the last year or so. Apparently he was never able to use it before he died. Very interesting article, anyone have a reference?

That story is so sad. Wally conquered land, and when he was ready to conquer the sea he passed away.

The more I read about the man, the more I realize what a guiding spirit he was. I've actually been collecting quotes of his. These are some of my favorites:

"Adventure is where you find it, any place, every place, except at home in the rocking chair."

"It's better to wear out than rust out."

"Just as all the world loves a lover, it has been my experience that all the world loves a trailerite."

"If you don’t know what else to do, drink beer."

Heart and soul of the Airstream. He broke the mold, and then encouraged others to do the same.
