It sounds like you were in school for Architecture or Engineering.

I have always admired Fullers inventivenes and creativity mixed with the practical engineering skills. Some thought he was kinda nutty, but that happens when people think only in terms of, "will it make money?"

I also had the chance to see/hear Fuller at Carnegie Tech in the 50s. We sat through 2 hrs. of his philosophy and came out knowing less about it than when we went in. Whatever he was trying to say went right over our heads. Of course, we were only 3rd year Achitectural students and still very wet behind the ears. His work none-the-less was very facinating.
