Idiot!

If this guy had gotten injured or killed by this creature, no doubt there would be lawsuits since the park and everyone else would have been to “blame”. This guy should be locked up for life.

God forgive me for being this harsh but had that buffalo thinned the herd that day, that might have been a good thing....

Sadly, that guy isn't even a serious competitor for a Darwin Award. There are so many even dumber "Hey bubba, watch this!" or "What could possibly go wrong?" moments out there. This guy is a rank amateur compared to them.

He would probably be camped next to us with his external stereo and tv on at full volume . Flying his Drone between the fireworks. Almost forgot, his kid riding his ATV that has no muffler.

Hi

Well, he also made it on the nightly news. Seems he's been doing this sort of stuff multiple times and been cited for it on many occasions. He has some serious mental health issues ...

Thank god.
Being argumentative with a male bison while sober would qualify you for the looney bin.

While motorcycling through Custer State park, we were first in line to be stopped by a herd of 200 bison crossing the road. Not having a car to hide in, we were concerned if we were noticed by the alpha males. We got one <snort> and that was enough.

Hi

That was the implication in the news story when they tracked him down and hauled him away to jail.

He probably already has.
Plus the fact that he is driving.
We are saving too many children! This one should have been put down years ago.
Unfortunately if the bison had injured or better yet killed him. It would be the bison that would be put down.

Honestly, when I see idiots like this or trophy hunters or poachers ( the all rank about the same in my ranking of useless humans) being attacked by the animals- I always side with the animals.

(This excludes subsistence hunters like those in remote Alaska)

Btw, this is somewhat off topic for “airstream” issues but okay.

Note:back in the 70’s my wife and I were in a national park and I was using a shoulder camcorder (remember those?) to record bisons as we drove along the park road. A high point of our trip and neither we nor they were ever endangered during the encounter.
