idea for wristband

We need a silver version of those Lance Armstrong wristbands going around that says "live more".

We could use them to raise money for my trailer remodel!!

That's a great idea, but you'll probably end up making more money than you can spend on your AS. So then you'll have to start a foundation and give out grants to needy 'streamers doing restorations! I'm all for it!

Where do I sign up for a grant??? I'm all over it, just show me the line to put my mark on.

I do plan on putting a donation box in front of my trailer. I hope that it does not get me in trouble.

What a great idea ! The thought of having a genuine Silver studded bracelet emblazoned with "Live More" spelled out with real Emeralds and Rubies glinting in the sun. What an idea of magnificent proportions, and with you selling them for $ 10.00 each along with a free one month use of your restored trailer towed to the destination of our choice. Count us in. Just can't wait.
BTW what will be the waiting period? How is the restore coming along?

If I'd known what I was in for, I would have had a box out all last season! Who knew it was going to turn out - oh, since I have it apart lets replace this, and this, and this, and this...what? Everybody else knew that?!?

But actually the bracelets sound like a cool idea. It would remind you that the travelling days were just around the corner, even in the depths of winter.

Will we have to take them off if we go to the hospital? I know Lance's wristbands caused some sort of problems. But then Airstreams would make a great hospital room even thought they would have to bring the meds and meals out to the parking lot.

Wink bracelets

Well we all belong in a hospital especially if you KNEW what you were in for, like we did, before you even bought it!

stefroberts, you were gonna have to spend it anyway. Might as well do it now preventatively than later, twice as much, because you didn't do it before. I hope that makes you feel better!

tinseloaf: Well as far as the remodel goes, I've been working on it slowly but surely a few days a week, hubby's busy working (inside jobs, warm and dry, during this rain rain rain, so no complaints here). I'm having fun, but we won't be able to use it for another year I'm guessing. I'm painting the frame underneath and getting it ready for a shell-on floor replacement (ha ha look at me I sound like I know what I'm doing!) but after that, after I scrub down the inside, we're using the trailer if it means cots and ice chests! Both of which we have! It'll just be an aluminum tent!

I still don't regret owning it. I just wish it would stop raining, but I'm fixing things around the house so I can head out when it's dry and work on it and not feel guilty for not fixing things around the house. Does anyone else out there do that? "I can work on the trailer, but I should really scrub the filthy bathroom...nah...trailer here I come"

Getting ready to make hay while the rain falls I guess.

Oh yes! That's me. It gets to 40 degrees and I am out there. And the house? Well, it's just a holding area for Airstream parts...right?

Another Idea!

How about a "WWWD" wristband?

It stands for "What Would Wally Do" of course!

At first I chuckled, but you know...that's not such a bad idea. Didn't he have a quote about still working on the impossible, or something to that effect?

sign me; staring at the rain...and wishing I had POR15 stuck in my hair...sigh...

i.

I beleive I have heard Wally quoted to have said:

"It was impossible, so it took a little longer."

Could this be the quote you are remembering? If Wally didn't say it, I have no idea who did, but I have been known to use it at work on occasion.
