i just received a major award!

hey all

decided not to go with a christmas tree this year due to a guest cat. we ordered and recieved a "leg lamp" for the front window ala a christmas story!

note offical red ryder bb gun in the background!

also pictured the guest cat horatio, we have him until my new grandaughter is big enough to fend him off. he is the most clumsy cat i have ever seen, just before i took these shots today he managed to knock the lamp over... fixed that with some monofiliment fishing string tied to the curtain rod.

let's see some of your christmas decorations in this thread!

enjoy!

Nice leg lamp. I think we'll just stick with the Festivus pole (table model) again this year.

You're just envious. You can order you own, but only if you want to. I don't care that much.

Definitely not Betty Grable's leg, and I should know. I'm a leg man.

John hd and others on the thread might enjoy this piece about ‘A CHRISTMAS STORY’ from yesterday’s New York Times

http://travel2.nytimes.com/2006/12/0...cleveland.html

I’ve not seen the movie but believe I will now that my curiosity has been whetted.

Mini Camper Leg

I saw a mini leg lamp in a catalog recently and suggested to my wife that we get one for the camper to put in the front window... that was shot down quickly.

I wonder if I can get her to string these lights ...

Love it, need more of it!

From the Sunday funnies

Hey John -- I believe the national press is monitoring Airstream Forums to keep their finger on the pulse of the nation. This is fresh from today's paper! It makes me think you'd better shut the front curtain just in case there are any baseball players in the neighborhood.
