I've noticed that there are many many new forum members that have joined in the past several months. I feel obligated every 6 months or so to provide the following link to help newcomers adapt to the specific culture and understand proper trailer manners. Some of us instinctively have a certain polish and some have to learn it from educational sites such as this one.

That was hilarious! The only problem is that sadly there was way too much truth there in far too many places. I was a social worker here in Texas for 32 years. I am fairly certain that I've met most of those folks at one time or another.

Say, Tin Hut!

It's not that far from Southlake down here to Hamilton. If you're feeling the need to get out in the country and away from whatever is normal for you (I haven't really figured out where the center of your universe is just yet), you'd sure be welcome. We ranch and have a place where you can park your trailer down on the river under the pecan trees for a few days while you fish, or whittle, or whatever floats your boat.... We'd treat you so many ways that you're bound to like one of them.

Check out the "This Old Trailer" spoof. http://www.thisoltrailer.com/ Purty silly stuff. Also, if you have access to the right cable tv lineup (BBC America in US, Showtime[?] in Canada), the redneck humour in the program "Trailer Park Boys" is not to be missed (or at least, that's what dh says).

Hmmm, entertainment like this might lead you consider using a "vintage" pacer as a tow vehicle.
