Absolutely!

This is exactly our perspective on aging. Enjoy every day and make the most of it.

No matter how long you live, life is short.

I bought my first Airstream when I was 29...a 65 Caravel...yes I kick myself about once a week for selling it. My 30' Classic is my 4th Airstream and I'm 54 now. Well, this carcass is 54, my state of mind and attitude still in it's 20's but part of that is driven by my partner being 43 going on 25...you're as young a you feel and man I feel great!

I need it, really. Pm me and I will give you my address where you can send it.

We're both 30 and about to make the plunge into AS ownership. I earned the 'old man' moniker after even considering anything but a tent so I'm fully prepared for the ribbing we'll receive.

I like this thread because every birthday we can update. I'll soon be 62, my wife 63. Both still riding motorscooters and camping. zz

We got our Airstream when I was 46 (previously my wife's parents full-timed in it. They bought it new when they were 69-70ish. It was their third or fourth airstream). Currently I am 48 and Carol is younger. The children are 10 and 12. The dog is almost 2.

The Letter

Gemma just got her first AARP solicitation letter! Whaaaat?

At what age can you join? She figured she still had at least a decade. Soon our mailbox will be flooded with prepaid funeral plan solicitation letters. Sigh.

Gotta get busy livin'!

I'm 31 and new to the AlumiNation. My children love our AS and I want a couple of adventures before I start the resto/mod.

Just do what I do. Keep a trash can next to the mail box. Too old to be carrying all the junk mail. Sal.

You can join AARP at 50. Wait 'til you start getting hearing aid offers.
