Living in the country we don't get any trick or treaters. In fact I asked my hubby where do all of the kids that live in the country or on a ranch trick or treat?
So sad This is our first year out here with no trick or treaters.
I did however get to see cute kids dressed in costumes on my Facebook page, so not all was lost.
Happy Halloween

Had 300 bags with 3 pieces of candy in each, and a big mixing bowl with extra - all gone. 350 I estimate is the number of kids. Lights off at 8pm and they are still in the street.

Halloween has been postponed in our area until Thursday. the storm has left us with snow, downed trees, branches, wires and no power.
We hope to get about 40 kids. It's sad that so few come by.

Hi, I never count, but I will guess between 40 and 50 tonight. A large family recently moved, or it would have been about 10 more. Lights out and Trick or Treat was over at 9:00 PM.

Better not to - just throw in a lollypop and let them move on. After my post and well after the lights were off last night we had one at 10pm, two cute kids and a Dad. You never know the whole story, I just turned on the porch lights and handed the kids a big hand full of candy and smiled. It's for the kids, and the way it should be.
