How many?

Hello Everyone,

I was just wondering if anybody out there who has taken the factory tour remembers how many Airstreams they produce a day?

Cheers,

They made 80 to 100 per week, back in the ealy 70's, in Ohio and about 40 to 60 per week in California.

That number has dropped considerably.

Wow

Thanks Andy,

The combined output from both the Ohio and California plants would put their weekly production at somewhere between 120 and 160 units a week or between 24 and 32 units per day! Wow!

I agree with you, I suspect that the current output is something like one-half to one-third that amount today maybe even one-quarter. Yikes!

Cheers,
Rion

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for information. I guess that current production figures are far lower than I expected, but understandable given the state of the economy.

Cheers,
Rion

When I was there about a year ago, the tour guide said they had capacity for 50 some a week, but at that time, they were running in the 20s per week.
