Not daring to taunt the forecasters, last night I sheet-covered my house plants already moved out and the plants I've potted up for moving, but this morning the low registered at 36 degrees, not the anticipated 28. Whew Sat out in the bright sun, cobalt sky, chilly nose and toes, but enjoyed the early am coffee. Like what our family calls a "Minnesota day!" Coulda been on the shores of Lake Superior in August.

Unusal cold snap for us.

We had a forecast of 28-32 last night. I went over to my dewinterized trailer at the storage lot and fired up the water heater and set the furnace thermostat to 40 degrees and opened up the cabinets. Hopefully all stayed unfrozen overnight.

Jack

Down to 29 degrees here last night, and an inch of snow on the ground this morning. I went to the storage yard and turned on the furnace and water heater yesterday when it was still a balmy 39 degrees. Last weekend our new Airstream was in the driveway and temps were in the mid to high seventies. Springtime in the midwest can be fickle .

May 1st Working Conditions

The answer is money. What was the question?

It's 47 degrees out so I'm still working away inside the trailer as snow pellets fall outside...

Yesterday it snowed...today it's just 34-degrees and looking like it's going to snow! Crummy 'working on the trailer' weather...we leave for our first rally in 11 days, sure hope it warms up by then!

Wow, I don't know how to handle the second day of Bright Blue Clear Skies and 70 deg. He, He, He...
Wonderful weather but I can't find a new project rig.

Shari --

Is that fair? Denver is at 5 times our altitude.

It is supposed to warm up here by late in the week.

I went back out to the storage lot and turned the furnace back on last night. Another night close to freezing. Yikes it's May 1st! Maybe this is the last of it.

Bill, I'll try to send some of this monsoonal rain up your way to help cool things off. My lawn is growing mold.
