No, did you move further south???

Friday
Snow and sleet in the morning...then rain...snow likely in the afternoon. Precipitation may be heavy at times in the morning. Total accumulation of 4 to 8 inches. Highs in the upper 30s. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation near 100 percent.

I guess it depends on which weather forecaster you listen to. I like mine better -- it sure beats 4 - 8 inches of snow.

Friday...Rain...snow with a chance of sleet in the morning... Then rain in the afternoon. Little or no total snow accumulation. Near steady temperature in the upper 30s. Northeast winds 5 to 10 mph with gusts up to 25 mph. Chance of precipitation near 100 percent.

Rain on the coast 35º right now, just starting to change over. No different that any other day, we'll know tomorrow what it was like today

I think the use of "accurate" is a misnomer here.
There are too many variables.
Weather forecasters (these are the guys that get paid to report the weather to us) are only correct 52% of the time.
Weather changes every minute.
Different sources report different ways.

Anyhow...which weather source do you use?

I like Weather Undergound. I use the link for out of Porsmouth, NH

Portsmouth, New Hampshire (03801) Conditions & Forecast : Weather Underground

Our Metrology tower shows the instant temp @ 33º. Kinda weird here, it is changing every few minutes from rain to snow.

Maybe I can move snow around later with my new John Deere

That explains it. I used boston.com yesterday. Further investigation on my end has shown that the proverbial "snow line" for this storm is somewhere just south of you and just north of me. Anyhow...I woke up to sleet this morning.

You got a new JD? I'm so jealous. I'd be moving snow, dirt, the neighbors snow, pretty much anything I could find that needed moving, for quite a while before I got tired of playing with a new JD.

I did! Took all the snow out of the driveway, made a huge pile way down on the lower part of my property. Moved all the snow banks on my side of the road around so they would melt faster. Planning tp put in a new place to put my Rigs behind my garage. Currently looking for some culvert pipe

35º now and 4" of slush, stopped snowing
Can't wait to go home and see what I can move around now.

VERY nice. I have tractor envy big time. My neighbor bought a JD and one of my buddies has one. Small ones but good looking and tough as nails.

Oh well, maybe some day....

84 degrees. After putting on sunscreen, I put out lawn fertilizer and am now running the sprinklers.
