It's -18 so far this morning, if it drops another two degrees I'll loose my bet that we would not see -20 again....and it usually drops several degrees just as it begins to get light....well, back to the weather channel it's time for it to get light.....our outdoor thermometer dosen't count...

Here it is into Feb. and we have 69° this afternoon. I replaced a tarp which was a temporary cover over a small building this afternoon. The wind caught it once and had to start over with it. Come warmer weather I think it will be time to fix the problem.

How Cold Is It?

Cold enough to freeze the nuts off a JEEP!

We are on our 3rd ice storm in a year here in Missouri. I had to chipped 2" of ice off my car today and let the heat and defrost run for almost an hour before I could chip it all the way off.

Many without power again and our poor trees, what ones we have let in the area from the last ice storms.

They say "What don't kill ya will make you stronger". We will surely have some big, healthy, strong trees this spring.

It's 47 degrees right now at Santa Rosa Beach in the Florida Panhandle. It's supposed to top out a 64 degrees today.

It's 22 degrees and snowing, poor visibility, may be another 4 inches today. Moosetags can I come visit you? Now that Can Opener opened a whole can of worms of starting the year right, but then also leaving we Michiganders wishing we could have stayed South until May!!! Returning home's the kicker.

49 degrees and a bit foggy here on the Central California Coast. Supposed to reach about 70 when the fog clears.
