So have you resorted to dynamiting the drifts yet?

The sun is shining and it's 14 degrees. This morning it was snowing and the roads were a real mess.

After an overnight ice storm it hit 32F this morning and the roads were passable. Since mid-morning, the wind has picked up significantly and the temps have fallen to 17F at present with a significant wind chill. Brrrrr. Put another log on the fire.

Valentine Snow!

A real NorEaster for Valentine's Day. Got up to 2 degrees, now sitting at 0. Just finished clearing these dog paths for the second time today and they'll be filled in again by morning. Oh well, I need the exercise.

Started out with some snow on the ground, but now we're up to 30 inches and snow will continue through the night.
Skiers are celebrating!

WOW!! We're happy it won't look that way when we're up in your neck of the woods this Summer! Stay warm up there.

The wood stove is stoked, and the woodpile will last through the winter. If you come in May or June the yard will be covered with daffodils. Either way I think it's beautiful!

One of our very favorite states to visit and now that we have the Airstream, it's even better. Come on Springtime! Regards from POP and MIMI.

60 degrees here in the shade at the moment, 74 on my front porch which faces west and catches more sun.
You folks in the east, hang on for a couple of months, things will get better.

Thanks Janet, not so much on our East side of Michigan the folks on the West have more than they would care to have several times over. When we lived in Illinois on the other side of Lake Michigan we had a lot of lake effect snow as does the West of Michigan. We have just enough to make things white and when its falling enough to keep the road crews busy plowing. Now if we were in the Upper Penninsula I know we would be snowed in, over the front door over half way it went when we rented a cabin. I like snow. But then I don't have to shovel it. Although hubby did call in today for work and stayed home--but I mean BIG snow.

How are things in Oregon now?
