How Cold

How cold did it get where you live?
I live in the florida panhandle and I dont remember it getting this cold in quite a few years. Our coldest month is January and it has been hitting us with freeze warnings the last couple of nights.
I even ran the water out of the pipes and ran a heater in the Airstream all night long so nothing would happen hopefully.Kept it arounds in the temps of 68 degrees.

We have exactly the opposite problem: It suddenly turned warm here. We have absolutely no snow on the ground here in the valley floor, and the resort is struggling to keep the slopes open.

I shouldn't complain that much, though. Yes, business is slow because of the warm weather, but I don't have to sit on the tractor for hours on end every day just to keep the snow cleared on the park!

Sunny and looking for a high of 48* in eastern Iowa today! Time to break out the swimsuits and lounge around the pool under the palm trees with our favorite beverage! Headed for the car wash today!

My forecast calls for 75F for the Holiday weekend. Right now it looks very foggy and gloomy outside, though. Maybe at least it will rain or something for Christmas....

Going to be 60 here today and sunny. Tomorrow and Christmas will be "Oklahoma Windy" and it's a cold North wind. Having fun today. Dogs are outside so I can clean the house for Christmas.

**Heater Fixed**

I had a problem with the heater in my TV and finally got it fixed. Back in Feb. of this year I had the thermostat housing replaced. I've still been having a problem so I had more work done on it and I just got it back today. They replaced the thermostat, gasket, one fitting, and the heater core. Also had new plugs and wires put on! I just got tired of not having enough heat where it's been so cold lately so I decided to nip it in the bud. I have a lot of heat now & it runs great!

Maybe that is why it got so warm today!

Okay, it was 70 here today, after low temps of 44 this morning. Supposed to be nearly 80 again by Christmas day, but it is also supposed to rain.
I'm dreaming of a grey...Christmas!...

Driftwood is slightly closer to the water than I am. It is 32 at my house. I think we should move to South Florida where it is warm...

It is 30 degrees here (Willoughby Ohio - suburb of Cleveland) this morning - forecast high is 42 today, 45 tomorrow, 55 on Thursday! Then the bottom drops out again and we're back in the deep freeze.

Had the transmission service done on my TV yesterday as well as universal joints replaced for the rear segment of the driveshaft. It was shuddering terribly in first gear while towing.

Now we're ready for the second year towing our AS - can't wait! I think we'll go to the storage lot this weekend and just sit in it in anticipation!

Have a GREAT day!
