Hitch receiver plaques
We have all seen those signs you plug into your hitch receiver when you are not towing; you know, with words like," used to tow fords", that is if you drive another make. Well, where can I get one that says " for towing airstreams" ??

Why not just get a "real" one from Airstream? It even folds down to make a step into your truck...

the as store website photo doesn't do this one justice....
the surface is raised and finely machined like a a hand carved relief.
LOTS of detail in the skin and bottles, wheel wells, windows and so on..
it is very cool, i won one at the bb rally 2 years back.
highly recommended, but almost too pretty to use.
i keep my inside the trailer!
cheers

I think they are both way cool... the ones from AS look as though they could be scaled down to make tie-tacs or lapel pins. the face of the other one could be part of a lamp. thus is both art and practical, one with the other.

Those are really cool, but I like functionality. You never know when you will take the truck out on the water. This picture is from my former Tundra...

Here is a photo of mine; it's a Mickey Mouse icon of course.
(See my tag line and you'll understand why.)
My wife bought it for me a couple of years ago from an on-line source. You can get most any kind. I even have a Mickey with Santa's hat for the holidays!
Just Google hitch plugs and you will get plenty of sites with lots of different styles to choose from if you want something other than the Airstream styles pictured above. I would recommend that you get a locking hitch pin just to make sure it stays where you put it. They do have a tendency to disappear if you don't.

The really nice Airstream ones that fold down into a step are REAL nice targets for kids to rip off. We have the frame, but alas, the AS logo plate is long gone. We had it on the TV for about 3 months before it walked away.

I clicked on the site but could not see anything A/S.. I have a red one and my daughter and son in law have the blue step one. My other daughter has the one with the Bambi on it. I would like to pick up another red one for myself...
