Geez, I didn't mean to start anything here..... I just like Snagglepuss...OK, OK, I couldn't think of anything from a Pink Flamingo!! And I must confess, I did not remember that from the "Wizard" (and did enjoy Bert Lahr in the role of the Lion).

The character of Snagglepuss originally appeared in 1959 as a minor character on episodes of Quick Draw McGraw, Augie Doggie, and Snooper & Blabber (this episode introduced Snagglepuss's nemesis the master hunter Major Minor). The character proved to have such appeal that he was given his own segment on The Yogi Bear Show when it premiered in 1961. Snagglepuss's favorite sayings were "Exit stage left" and "Heavens to Murgatroid."

Hi- jacked

Tom - We all owe you a sincere appology. We hi-jacked your thred nd we had no right in doing so. Instead of helping you with lists and must haves for a great camping experience we send you cartoons. The Mods here work very hard at keeping this forum clean and helpful and I am surprised no one got caught. Please use the link below for some really good info that mark had put together and as I mentioned earlier use the search function and you will find some really great info because this subject has been addressed.

Good luck and again I appologize for your thread being Hi-jacked!

You got me

Hey, Snagglepuss appeared 10 years before I was born, and got on Yogi Bear 8 years before I was born. So at least give me some credit for recognizing him

You got me on Wizard of Oz guy. I didn't know he was the originator of the saying

This "whippersnapper" is getting grayer each year!

OK, on topic; don't forget vice grips, duct tape, and some bailing wire. You can fix anything with those!

WD 40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use the WD40, if it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.
WD40 is also useful as a starting fluid for light duty diesel engines.

Tom-

SO many little things you will pick up along the way. Electrical tape, spare fuses, five screw drivers, a hammer, you wouldn't believe what is in my tool box! Oh, Cork Screw, very, very important!
