Dear Pick,

You have the utmost sympathy from all of us north of N. Latitude 38! HA! It MIGHT hit an unseasonably warm 50 degrees here today in Eastern IA!

We're all eating our hearts out with envy! Summer CAN'T come fast enough this year!

Pick

Come home, it is warmer. I was up and down between Daytona and Melbourne Thursday, it is warmer in MI than FL. Heading south I kept turning the heater up, north I had to turn it down.

I will be glad when the weather stops being so cold - I want to visit old and new friends in the north, but don't need to burst my pipes whilst doing it. I have friends in Montana, and in North Dakota, so will be up there in the late spring, when the nights keep above freezing most times. Of interest, how cold can it get, before the pipes get problems in a fully heated trailer?

Robin In So. Wisconsin

Saw a robin last saturday. That's three weeks earlier than last year. Had a rain storm today with some hail. Snow in forcast for weekend. But we usually get snow on the tulips anyway.

We lived in SE WI for 7 years. It snowed EVERY May. Nobody believed me because I'm a Floridian. But I paid attention because I'm a Floridian.

So this southern groundhog predicts at little more than 2 months of snow. Of course, you'll have lots of beautiful spring days in between.

theo,

i use my '92 for deer hunting. gets into the teens at night, no problems with freeze ups.

you should be prepared to winterize your trailer immediately in case your furnace quits or you run out of propane unexpectedly.

We sold our house in Wauwatosa on the last weekend in February. It was a similiar weekend, 50's and sunshine. We had an open house and everyone was out looking. We sold it that day!

This weekend was beautiful here, too. But then we expect that this time of year.
