Thanks for all the well wishes for everyone, and I extend the same.

I've finally reached the age (or moved close enough to those who have) that folks come here now for holidays, but I hope that everybody out there traveling today remembers that though distractions may be many these days, the road one travels remains not one and is terribly unforgiving of inattention and mistake.

Wishing a wonderful Thanksgiving to all. Among the things for which I'm thankful, this forum and all the wonderful people here. May you and your families have a blessed holiday.

To our AMERICAN neighbors, HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

(We celebrate our traditional Thanksgiving the second Monday of October up here.)

You have a lot to be proud of and a lot to be thankful for.

Just wanted to add my wishes for a great Thanksgiving too. Great sentiments here and that e-card was hillarious.

It's wonderful to share the expressions of Thanksgiving here, and I'll add my laughs to Carol's for the e-card. Can't wait for those 2 teenage grandsons of mine to get here and see it. They'll crack up! Thanks, Enduroryda, for that ~G

This is a wonderful thread to read, capturing the spirit of Thanksgiving. Our national pause to remember what we are thankful for is a true universal holiday which can be celebrated by everyone regardless of religious beliefs or affiliations. I rejoice in the coming together in this day of thanksgiving. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone.

To everyone, best Thanksgiving wishes. The following was in the Thanksgiving day edition of the "Curtis" comic strip by Ray Billingsley. I thought it expressed our thoughts very well.

This day we give thanks not for what is before us on our plates,
but for things that have no taste, yet, are far, far, more satisfying.
Good health, true friendships, honest relationships, strong families,
Being of non-judgmental character, and a contributor to a peaceful community.
None of which can be had by paper or coin, yet to posses just One makes
you truly the Luckiest soul to walk this great blue marble.
Feast and fill your soul............
