Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! We are also grateful for the wonderful people we've met here and at the rallies. What an amazing bunch - thanks for everything!
We are up late making pumpkin pie, pumpkin cheesecake, and cranberry orange relish. With that done, we should be able to sleep in a little tomorrow before it's time to put the turkey in the oven, and the ham in the crock pot. The mashed sweet potatoes and green bean casserole will be easy to make, and our guests are bringing all the rest of the trimmings. We expect about 10 people for the big event, so we should have plenty of leftovers for everyone. If you're in the area, stop on by!

We're camping this weekend at Picacho Peak State Park, AZ...an easy, nearby trip for a quiet weekend of R&R with turkey and all the trimmings...made a pumpkin pie in the Bambi last night. Mmmm.

Indeed...
Thankful for family shiny silver things and that we have an oven in the Airstream. Can't imagine cooking a today feast in a tiny nukrowave!
