Thank you. And now that I have the pole there is a little matter that I want to discuss. The TV remote. My husband is a CBP, yup, it's true, a continual button pusher. Round and round she goes at dizzying speeds. When he does pause long enough for me to become interested --ZAP-- I never hear the end of the sentence. Now I have heard tell that this is a gender thing to retain control of the remote. I have also heard that a man is born with two hands, one for the remote and the other--let's say I forgot that "part." I gotta tell you, I got a problem with you people!

Carol,

You have the pole and your grievance is noted.

You can do what my spouse does. She goes through the TV schedule in the afternoon and sets the DVR to record HER programs. Then I can't channel surf because the programs are locked in. And that's MY grievance.

BTW, I think your husband is completely normal. He's multi-tasking. Who says you can't watch three programs at once? Just catch the high points.

Popeye,

Without picture I guess we will need to take your word on it.

Our budget was even less than yours this year so we had to skip the modern semi precious metal pole and go with the old fashioned real route. Picture of hubby and the family the day we excitedly went out to chop down and bring home our festivous pole.

Oh.

I thought that was a German Shepard teaching a human to fetch a stick.

Very good feat!

Once again, it is time to bid you all a most agonizing Festivus, and if someone would like to post a grievance, now is the time.

You may have the pole.

Smile Well its not a really big grievance

Its not something a girl could scream at a lousy goalie (sieve sieve its all your fault its all your fault) or a ref (skate much bubba?), but...I am deeply concerned that the forum doesn't have a hockey subforum, I know at least Tim (doorgunner), Mike (streamer23), and Shari (InsideOut) would be there too.

Yeah, I thought of you last Monday night Steph!

As bad as we are this year, somehow we mustered up enough oomph to beat you in your own barn!

The Hanson Brothers are grand, but you need to see the original!

It's Festivus eve and I can hardly wait. I've already collected the food for my Feast of Festivus: frozen Stouffer's meatloaf and Stouffer's macaroni and cheese casserole with a Pepperidge Farms cake and M&Ms to sprinkle on the top for dessert.

I found an extendable aluminum boathook that I've polished up and it will make a really fine Festivus pole. I'm putting batteries inside of it and some LED tailights on the top to complete the season's ambiance.

Happy Festivus y'all.

Huh?

Clueless here.
Have I been living in a cave?
Is this an Airstream thing I don't know about?
