BAD Folks
 You cant stop BAD folks from doing BAD things.
 NO law,NO sign,NO world full of do gooders will stop BAD folks.
 They do not care who's home,City,State,or park it is if they want to do BAD things.
 ONLY the BIG bang will stop them and who cares where that comes from,a Law Officer or a armed citizen,as long as the job get's done.

I am sure that most of ya'll know why the second ammendment is there, but if you're not a fan of Thomas Jefferson, you ought to research why and how he argued for it.

Interesting read.... I just started open carrying about a year and half ago (Im in WI) And can now (with my wonderful state issued permission slip) carry concealed just about anywhere...and plan on continuing to do so. Both open AND concealed. Like someone else said...be prepared...somewhere i read, 'no one needs a gun, until you need a gun, then youd better have one.' Its kinda like homeowners insurance...

Law enforcement is better at investigating crime than it is in preventing crime. Wild animals are just that ... wild animals. Be prepared. As a seasonal NPS LE ranger we carried sidearms to protect ourselves ... but long guns for any bear management ... OC / bear spray is just as ineffective at times on wild animals as it is on "tame" animals. EMD is much more effective.
