Quite a story. It puts into perspective the humility our fathers and mothers (and grandparents who were either in the first or second war-or Korean for that matter) have in most cases shown for the sacrifices they made. My father would not talk about his military service beyond making it clear that he felt it was everyone's duty to respond when they were needed. Watching this sure brought back memories of my father. I miss him but I know he knows how proud of him we are/were.
Thanks for posting this Robert. It is a wonderful story. Those grandkids are extremely fortunate to have known their grandfather in this way.
