Good Sam Insurance

Any experience out there? It almost sounds too good to be true. Emergency Assistance Plus is the latest advert. For $109.00 they will monitor your emergency medical care, fly you home, hire a professional driver to pick up your rig, ect. Do any of you have this? Heard of any experiences? Tx you!

I have the coverage and hope I never have to use it! Bought it because of a previous experience. Truck hit stream away from home, etc..

I have this also. The key clause is the fact that flight home is when you cannot get adequate treatment for your condition from the local hospital.

I bought it for the catastrophic situation where something would happen to me and that I would never be going home....

It's like a securty blanket on top of the insurrance I have. I renew it every year in hopes that I never need it.

I just got off the phone with DeDe, in St Louis, and she confirms that Good Sam can not write insurance for RV's in Canada.

Yet I get mail every two months wanting me to join the Club?

When we were in northwest Canada several years ago we heard of people being towed by Good Sam. Things may have changed, or only residents of Canada can't buy Good Sam.
