Sounds like what they are doing here for Bovine T.B. The managment unit by my in-laws property allowed unlimited permits for antlerless deer there. All the hassle and money spent and only one deer was found to have it last season, in the entire state. Sounds like you guys may have a serious problem developing there.
John,
TN. spring turkey season starts March 29 so I will go up on Fri. and not come home until Mon. evening. The next weekend is a youth hunt so it will be the next weekend before I hunt again. I'm planning on spending a few more days this year than last and maybe a gobbler might trip over me. I'll probably take the Airstream to the campsite a week ahead of time and scout the rest of that weekend. I can't wait for this season to start because I have become addicted to marinated turkey breasts.. I also like smoked turkey breast on our Brinkman's smoker. I find it hard to go back to the regular Butterball turkey.

John,
I counted 33 if the very last dark spot near the gulch is a turkey. There were several I counted that could be just a turkey raising a wing but I'm not sure. I'm with towner7, one at a time is all I need.
