bumping a thread means to post to it for no other reason than to get it to the top of the current posts on the home page.

it is frowned upon because it wastes server space and can move more pressing issues off the front page.

First, I don't agree. I personally am not accepting any mediocrity and don't believe more than half the country is either based on GW being elected not once, but twice and the second time getting the popular vote and the college. I am simply saying that I agree with the current events. I won't elaborate more on my feelings on the administration that was before GW as it would only start an even bigger discussion.

Second, I'm not one of the people that said "I'm moving to Canada if Bush gets re-elected". Nor did I say I'm moving abroad if Clinton gets into office. My comments were geared toward the bulk of Kerry supporters who talked a mean game about leaving, but most likely never followed through with it. Moreover, my choice of countries (to migrate to) were done for a reason. You are dead on when you say we differ in thought, but in the end I fully support your comment that the ability to disagree publically is what makes this place such a great place.
